DAWN M. WELLS
Dawn has been with the Law Office since January, 2015. She brought with her over 30 years of administrative experience as an assistant to Executives, Presidents and CEOs of various multi-million dollar organizations.
She is the face of the front office and is responsible for managing the law office and assisting Mr. Brown. Dawn has been a member of the world renowned public speaking and leadership club, Toastmasters International, and simultaneously earned her Competent Leadership and Competent Communicator Awards. Before joining the Law Office she served as President of the Cracker Barrel Toastmasters Club in Lebanon, TN. She has served as Notary Public in Pennsylvania and currently serves in Tennessee.
Dawn was raised in Maryland and attended Northeastern Christian Junior College in Villanova, PA with a major in secretarial science. A great deal of her time in college was spent traveling from Maine to Florida with school’s recruitment band as a lead/backup vocalist and keyboardist. She remained in the Philadelphia area until relocating to Lafayette with her husband, David, a Macon County native, in 2012. Dawn and David have two sons, one of which is currently serving in the U.S. Navy and the other who has recently completed his active duty service as a U.S. Marine. Dawn enjoys spending her free time with her family, knitting, being outdoors, and loves the beach.
AMANDA G. MEADOR
Amanda was born and raised in Scottsville, Kentucky with her mom, dad and two brothers. She moved to the Macon County area shortly after marrying Jeremy Meador, a Macon County native. Amanda and Jeremy were married in July, 2001 and now have three kids, Kameron, Karson, and Kaylee.
Amanda joined the firm in January, 2017, to assist Mr. Traylor, after working with the firm’s title company, Benchmark Title, for a year. Amanda had 7 years of law experience under her belt before joining the law firm, from working at the Macon County Justice Center. During her time at the Justice Center, she worked as a Macon County Chancery Court Deputy Clerk and also as a Macon County Misdemeanor Probation Officer.
Amanda’s husband, Jeremy is the pastor of the Strong Tower Church’s Lafayette location. She also is heavily involved at the church, serving in a high capacity volunteer role, as the KidStrong Director.
During her time off you will likely find her at a sporting event with her husband supporting their kids or at a church function. Amanda enjoys shopping, cheering on the Tennessee Volunteers, spending time with her family, and taking road trips.
